Booklet presents the results and projects 2021-2026

Through the six calls for proposals launched by Biosefair and the annual support provided for doctoral dissertations, a research community has taken shape and made progress on a variety of topics by bringing together numerous disciplines and research groups. This booklet presents the results of completed research tracks and dissertations, as well as overviews of ongoing research tracks and dissertations.

After five years of activity, the Biosefair metaprogram has significantly contributed to the emergence of new interdisciplinary research areas and new collaborations within INRAE units. Thanks to the support provided for projects and the events that were organized, a scientific community is taking shape, particularly through the involvement of all those leading research tracks and theses, whom we thank here by highlighting the results achieved.

An analysis of these advances reveals the unique contribution INRAE makes in addressing challenges related to biodiversity loss and the enhancement of ecosystem services. It is clear that the research topics cover a wide range of issues and subjects. The diversity presented in this booklet is a major asset when connections are forged between these various advances: this is what Biosefair aims to foster by promoting dialogue between fields that are sometimes very distant from one another.

Since 2021, Biosefair has supported:

  • 28 exploratory projects or research tracks with projects, 23 of which have submitted their final reports,
  • 11 consortia, 7 of which have submitted their reports,
  • 16 theses, 6 of which have been defended,
  • The flagship SALUD project.
